17,620 copies of the latest issue of the GCC newsletter Gungahlin Smokesignals - GunSmoke - have now been delivered across Gungahlin.

In Issue 118:
- We call for a priority bus lane for Northbourne Avenue to be separated from traffic by building it straight down the centre between the trees - right where Walter Burley Griffin originally intended the public transport to go - and explain just what is a 'tidal bus lane'.
- We summarise the recent ACT 2010-11 Budget, which includes big wins for GCC's campaigns to improve public transport and get a wetlands sanctuary near the middle of town.
- We explain how cyclists can commute to the city centre - without their lives on the line.
- Canberra Off-Road Cyclists describe how they've finally got government support for a dirct jump push-bike track for Gungahlin youth - after fours years of lobbying.
Delivery of Gunsmoke 118 is being partially sponsored - as always - by the Gungahlin Lakes Golf and Community Club.
Businesses interested in advertising in Issue 119 should get in quick. The deadline is 15 July.
