Financial Reports Tabled 

Jacob Vadakkedathu joined the committee and has agreed to take on the role of secretary and has agreed to coordinate and arrange for meeting speakers.

Community Centre lease runs out on June 14th. It was decided not to renew the lease and to recommend that GRCS take over the lease. GRCS have agreed to do this. 

Gunsmoke will appear as an electronic version either late May or early June. Alan will coordinate the creation and production of the newsletter but is seeking articles and assistance in distribution of the shop copies.

Hospital and Electoral Boundaries discussed

Fred Kasparek http://www.kasparek.com.au/ with Peter Nelson presented the concept plan for a new Flemington Road Development Community Housing Canberra.

Hospital discussed.  A 200 bed hospital will be built either in Gungahlin Town Centre or the University of Canberra campus. Different ways of publicising Gungahlin’s case as the site for the hospital were discussed with the main suggestions of letters to the enquiry and a petition.

Electoral Boundaries discussed.  The consensus was that Gungahlin should be in the one electorate and should be part of a seven seat Ginnederra Electrorate with Molonglo becoming a five member electorate.
