Our forums will recommence in early February & we are planning a lot of activity in the lead up to the 2012 Legislative Assembly elections. We are intending to hold three additional Community Forums on matters including Block Sizes, Electoral boundaries & Public Transport between February & July. We welcome contributions & support on any issues that affect the community to strengthen our representations. We need women on the Executive to redress a current gender imbalance!
The Gungahlin Community is now beginning to get some long-awaited amenities but the expected growth is substantial & it is inevitable that many more problems will arise before solutions are found. Therefore the GCC needs to be more pro-active & we require more active participants to further improve our effectiveness."
