Local developer CIC will be responsible for developing the next Gungahlin suburb to come on line - in partnership with the LDA - oh well...
 
Perhaps unlike the recent LDA-only suburbs of Harrison and Franklin, Crace will escape the dreaded Crace telephone exchange broadband log jam by having cable to the kerb installed?
 
How absurd is it that residents in Harrison are waiting 6 months on dial-up for an ADSL line, despite there being a great big sing at the suburb entrace proclaiming "Latest Technology"!
 
Back to Crace: 1200 blocks, with the first being available from late 2008. And for those who know about the asbestos dump in the area - that is in land to the east of the development that will be maintained as reserve.
 
The big question for Palmerston residents is whether Nurdurr Road will be extended to Gunaghlin Drive - if not they will cop a lot of rat-running traffic.
