A major development in Gungahlin's town centre has moved a step closer, with the development application being lodged with ACTPLA recently.

However the developers Vinta Group have informed GCC that the project is 'on hold' due to the economic situation, although this is under review every couple of months.

In the meantime, they intend doing some temporary works soon to build some footpaths along their Hibberson and Gribble Street frontages to make things a bit easier for pedestrians.
