The GCC has attended a number of consultation workshops around the make-up of the entire college/library/acquatic centre precinct to be built on Hibberson Street opposite the Canberra Raiders Club. The new library will be a key component of this new community precinct, to be built along the Hibberson Street frontage. With the college adjacent, there are opportunities to share library facilities between the community and the college, including making a greater range of higher eduction texts available to people who are studying externally - texts that would otherwise require trips to university libraries.
