The new timetable for the ACTION bus service is due to commence on 2 June, but they are short some 50 drivers!

The Canberra Times reported that training can only occur for eight drivers at a time, over about three weeks each course.

The solution is that the new weekend routes will be delayed until the driver numbers come up.

But at least this seems to mean that the new weekday commute services like the new Xpresso service from Gungahlin to Brindabella Park will start on time.
